The Turner King Khan will change the way you think about fat bikes — it’s fast, quick-handling, efficient and a great all-day, all-mountain trail bike.

Fat bikes are usually associated with riding snow and sand. And yes, the King Khan can do double-duty for backcountry explorers and mountain bikers who don’t let snow keep them off the trails. But riding the King Khan on dirt, especially on flowy flats or downhill, is a near orgasmic experience. With 16 psi (10 more than for snow), the 4-inch tires roll smoothly and stick to the trail like glue. Once you start pushing the bike through corners, getting air and monster trucking over rocky chunder, you’ll be hooked.

With 125mm of bump-eating, pedal-friendly DW-Link® suspension in the rear and a 120mm RockShox Bluto fork in the front, the King Khan is like a Ford Raptor with 37-inch tires. Or maybe the KTM 950 Super Enduro – the most powerful dirt bike ever produced. Take either of these to Baja and ride the right terrain and it’s pure, ear-to-ear grinning fun. At only ~34 lbs, the Turner King Khan fat bike devours everything in its path – it’s the ultimate all-season, all-terrain, good-time mountain bike. Wheels: With high-volume, low-pressure 4” tires on 26” wheels, the King Khan has handling similar to a bike with 27.5” wheels, but with the speed and rollover ability of a 29er. The monster tires give the King Khan incredible traction and effectively act as an inch or more of extra suspension so you can pedal it over any kind of surface, obstacle or terrain.
Suspension: 125mm (4.9″) DW-Link® rear and 120mm (4.7″) front: One of the most respected mountain bike suspension linkage systems, the DW-Link® provides a super-efficient pedaling platform with great traction and bottomless-feeling travel on big hits.
Frame: Turner is one of the few bike companies that still makes frames in the USA. Take a close look at the welds and precision-machined bits on the aluminum King Khan frame and you’ll see the quality and attention to detail that sets Turner bikes apart from the rest. Trail-friendly geometry makes the bike stable, comfortable and fun. Besides being an efficient suspension platform, the DW-Link rear also helps keep the King Khan laterally stiff – even when you’re descending through a field of babyhead rocks, or out of the saddle, pedaling hard. Another example of Turner’s attention to detail – the King Khan even has threaded Zerk grease ports to make sure the rear-linkage bearings stay in tip-top shape for years.
Fork: The Turner King Khan comes with a 120mm RockShox Bluto fat bike suspension fork. The Bluto was the first fat bike-specific suspension fork and it was specifically engineered for the unique demands of the fat wheel. It’s not just wide, though – it also features some of the best technology SRAM has to offer – the Solo Air spring, 15mm Maxle through-axle, tapered steerer tube and optional bar-mounted damping adjustment.
Available Builds: Turner Fat-Kit (as seen on our spec sheet) with choice of Fox CTD Evolution, Fox CTD Kashima or Cane Creek Double Barrel Inline rear shock. An optional KS Lev dropper seatpost ugrade is available, as well.

Geometry & Measurement Tips

Turner Bikes measures ‘Standover’ height 6” / 150mm in front of the BB center, that is roughly the MIDDLE of the Top Tube, not at the actual lowest point way back at the junction with the Seat Tube as some companies do. This allows for plenty of standover clearance without the nose of the seat crushing into your spine!
