Turner Flux Mountain Bike
The Turner Flux 27.5 mountain bike will blow you away — never before has a 120mm-travel bike offered so much performance and versatility. Depending on how you build it up, the Turner Flux can handle anything from Moab slickrock to competitive cross-country racing – and it absolutely kills it on Park City singletrack. Park City Mountain Bike Demos athlete Carrie Porter has top 50 Strava times on pretty much everything she rides on her Flux – the Turner Flux photos above are her bike.
Don’t let the Flux’s aluminum frame deceive you – the frame is incredibly light and most of our Flux builds weigh in at just over 25 pounds. Turner put together a special Flux kit for us that includes Stan’s NoTubes Valor 27.5 carbon wheels for low weight, extraordinary acceleration and great all-around trail bike performance. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a comparably-priced mountain bike with this level of performance.
|Wheel Size:||27.5 (also called 650b)|
|Suspension:||120mm (4.72″) front* and back with DW-Link® suspension in the rear: One of the most respected mountain bike suspension linkage systems, the DW-Link provides an efficient pedaling platform with great traction and a truly bottomless feel. We consider the DW-Link the best mountain bike linkage on the market.
*Depending on fork choice. The Flux can handle forks up to 140mm.
|Frame:||The Turner Flux 3.0 is made from aircraft-grade, hydroformed aluminum. It’s the first frame from Turner to use TriLobular tube-shaping technology and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) computer modeling. The result is an extremely light aluminum bike frame with strength-to-weight characteristics comparable to carbon fiber. Turner’s aluminum bike frames are proudly made in the USA.|

Geometry & Measurement Tips
Turner Bikes measures ‘Standover’ height 6” / 150mm in front of the BB center, that is roughly the MIDDLE of the Top Tube, not at the actual lowest point way back at the junction with the Seat Tube as some companies do. This allows for plenty of standover clearance without the nose of the seat crushing into your spine!
