Park City Mountain Resort has trails that cater to every type of rider and is just a short ride away from our demo shop. Trail access by chairlift is also available at Park City Mountain. A couple of shop favorites include Armstrong (uphill only), Spiro, Crescent Mine Grade, Tommy Two-Step, John’s, and the Wasatch Crest Trail. Be sure to ask about Wasatch Crest shuttles!
If you are new to mountain biking Round Valley is the perfect terrain for you. With 700 acres of preserved open space round valley has plenty of rolling single track to help you find your groove. These trails are also a short bike ride on the rail trail from the shop. Please note that there is abundant sun in Round Valley so these trails tend to get dusty and hot midsummer. The best time to ride is in the spring when PCMR is still covered in snow.
Deer Valley Resort has a lift operation that gives access to downhill only trails from beginner to expert so head here to find your inner downhiller. There is also plenty of two way single track to explore if bank turns and pump tracks aren’t for you. The base of Deer Valley is just a free short bus ride away and all city buses are equipped with bike racks to make public transportation around town a breeze.
If you’re looking to just cruise and check out Park City’s beautiful views then the Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail is right up your alley and can be picked up right outside the shop’s front door! This trail extends 26 miles throughout Park City and can take you from downtown to the White Barn and beyond. In the winter this trail is maintained and is the ideal way to view the area on fat bike.
Road Biking Around Park City
Park City might be known for its mountain biking, but make no mistake this town is surrounded by stretches of rolling pavement that road cyclist dreams are made of.
