Your Local Bike Shop

Two wheels on dirt or pavement, of any genre, and by any rider—that’s what our bike shop in Park City represents and who we want to be! With over 15 years in business, a new ownership group since 2018, and a storied history in the bike industry before that—we’ve hit our stride and continue to sell, service, and demo (of course) bikes in Park City and Summit County.

Park City Bike & Demo is a community-first, year-round bike shop. It’s not about us hustling you into a sale for a bike or accessory you don’t need or want. It’s not about our mechanics rushing your service out the door so we can move onto the next. In our shop, we take our time with you and your bike. This measured approach means that your kid will get a helmet that fits properly, you get your suspension tuned for your riding style, and your bike is safe and works properly. And while you wait, you’re welcome to an espresso and talk shop with us.

We love the hundreds of miles of trail out our front and back door. We demo and test everything we have in the shop so we can tell what works and where—from gravel roads, all day XC epics, bus laps, and gran fondos over tough mountain passes. We support those who dig trails, NICA teams and professional coaches, core riders and beginners alike, and anyone else who is excited to get out on their bike. At the end of the day—it’s all about the bike—we’re the bike shop that wants you to get your leg over it.

The folks behind Park City Bike & Demo

Ian Rugaber - General Manager

Ian is the General Manager here at Park City Bike & Demo. He is originally from the Finger Lakes Region of Western NY. You can find him skiing bumps on a powder day, riding the great trails in PC, or obsessing over the Buffalo Bills.

When it is new bike day, he is here and thrilled to help assist you to your dream bike!

Kenneth Acklin - Service Manager

Kenneth has been working on bicycles longer than most technicians have been alive. With a rich history and decades of experience in the bike industry, we are so fortunate to have him leading our Service Dept. here at PCB&D. You can spot him as the recorder toting, classic Beemer driving, steel bike riding, kilt wearing, ponytailed badass.

Beau Frentheway - Lead Technician

Beau is our lead technician, with experience and knowledge beyond his years. His talents have no limits, and his schedule is always full with mountain biking, skiing, snowmobiling, dirt biking, welding and his list of countless projects.

Tomas Parra-Gomez - Technician/Sales

Tomas can and is willing to help with anything in the shop, with a smile on his face and infectious enthusiasm. He is known in the PC MTB community for gnarly trails, smooth riding, and parking lot beer distribution.
