Knolly Warden Carbon

If you’re looking for a bike that can truly do it all that is designed for absolutely enduro domination, you’ve come to the right place. A product of Vancouver’s notorious North Shore, where you have to pedal up if you want to get down, the Knolly Warden Carbon is one of the most versatile, capable and confidence-inspiring enduro bikes we’ve had the pleasure of riding. If there’s a trail, line or feature you’ve been avoiding, the Knolly Warden Carbon is your answer.

Designed to dominate some of the most intimidating trails on the planet, the Knolly Warden Carbon has 155mm of active rear wheel travel with a 160mm fork in the front. It pedals like an all-mountain bike and descends like something with 170mm of travel. It can climb all day and handles extreme technical riding without breaking a sweat. With adjustable geometry, a premium carbon frame and Knolly’s patented Fourby4 suspension system, the Warden Carbon is the ultimate do-it-all bike. Whether you’re into big backcountry adventure, black diamond bike park laps or you’re aiming for the top step on the enduro podium, the Warden Carbon has you covered.

If you know anything about Knolly, you know they never rush anything. When they decided it was time to make their first carbon bike, they took their time and made sure they had the finest materials, facilities and manufacturing processes in place before they went into production. The extra effort shows. The new Warden Carbon is stiffer, stronger and nearly a pound lighter than the aluminum Warden frame. The rear-wheel travel has been increased from 150mm to 155mm and the reach stretched by 4mm. When all those changes are combined, you get what feels like a completely new bike – one of the most confident, fun bikes we’ve ever ridden.

Suspension has always been the foundation of Knolly mountain bikes. Inspired by the strut suspension designs used in Formula One race cars, founder and designer Noel Buckley’s patented Fourby4 linkage is super active for maximum traction and control, no matter how loose or chunky the terrain gets. If you’ve got the legs, the Warden Carbon will deliver the traction to climb nearly anything. When the descents get gnarly, the Fourby4 linkage gives the Warden that mythical “bottomless” feel, gobbling up rock gardens, tree roots and drops without flinching. The faster you go, the better it feels.

One thing that’s often overlooked in mountain bike designs is the way braking can affect suspension performance. That’s not the case with the Knolly Warden Carbon. Knolly’s Fourby4 linkage isolates braking forces so the bike remains fully active even when you’re braking hard. That means you can charge steep, technical terrain without worrying about getting tossed over the bars if you have to grab a handful of brakes.

We’re really excited about the Knolly Warden Carbon. Experienced riders looking for a bike that can handle the gamut of mountain bike terrain Utah has to offer – the Warden Carbon is the mythical one bike quiver. Big mountain adventure riding, lift-assisted downhill or Southern Utah slickrock – the Warden Carbon does it all.
